Support IACP by Booking Your Room at the Millennium Broadway Hotel Today
The centrally located Millennium Broadway Hotel is our headquarters hotel. This is the heart of Conference activities where you will be able to connect with your 1,000-plus culinary colleagues. The Millennium Broadway Hotel has extended a generous discount rate and we expect these rooms to book quickly, so please reserve as soon as possible. By booking your room at this hotel, you are supporting IACP by helping us meet our obligations and control attendee registration costs. Don't forget to mention our Group Preferred Rate Code, IACP032812, when you make your reservation.
Discounted IACP Room Rate
Our discounted group rate is $225, plus local taxes, for single/double occupancy. The preferred rate is applicable from March 28 to April 2, 2012 on a space-available basis. For suite rates, inquire with the reservations agent at the hotel. A credit card is required to guarantee your reservation, but your credit card will not be charged. Cancellations must be made 72 hours in advance to avoid a cancellation penalty.
*ALERT: If you experience any trouble booking the room online, please call 212-768-4400 x 428. Certain days on the online system are fully booked, but can be booked if you call the hotel directly.
Be sure to identify yourself as an IACP Conference attendee when you register so that you will be placed in the IACP room block. The discounted group rate is available on a first-come, first-served basis to our attendees, until Monday, March 12, 2012 or as long as the room block lasts.
You will be asked to confirm your departure date at the time of check-in, and in the event of an early departure without prior notice, one night’s room and tax will be charged to your final bill. Check-in time at the hotel is 4:00 pm and checkout time is 12:00 pm. Please remember you are responsible for both reserving and canceling your own hotel reservations.
We are delighted at the response to this year's conference and regret there are very few rooms left in our room block. Please call the hotel directly for specific dates. If the dates are not available, we suggest using either quikbooks.com or hotels.com to find rooms in the area.

Additional Information to Help You Plan Your Trip
Event Locations
While the Millennium will be our core location, you aren't coming to NYC to spend your time just in the hotel. Our Optional Tours are designed to take advantage of NYC's extensive public transportation while transporting you to some of the word's most interesting destinations. Our NYC Opening Party will be in chic Soho on Friday night. We also have Sunday events in Soho at The International Culinary Center, Culinary Expo, and Book & Blog Festival. By Sunday, you'll be navigating the city like a local! Monday programming will be in various locations in the city, including the Institute of Culinary Education. Monday's Awards Ceremony & After Party will be in the glamorous Times Center.
Weather
New York weather is famously unpredicatable! Bring an umbrella, something to keep you warm, and something to keep you cool. Best bet is to check the local weather before you pack.
Conference Attire
Business casual attire is appropriate for the educational and business sessions of the conference. Friday night party attire is suggested for our NYC Opening Party, and pull out all the stops for our Awards Ceremony where we strongly encourage "fabulous" as our dress code! Please bring comfortable walking shoes for daytime events, and those very special evening shoes you are just dying to show off for our evening events.
Alternative Meals
There are many attendees, who, for a variety of reasons, adhere to a special restricted diet. While the IACP is sensitive to these special requirements and works closely with the hotel to provide healthy and diverse meals, the association cannot accommodate every individual need. We will make all efforts to have choices suitable for vegetarians and special needs diets.
