Seattle Conference: Telling Stories and Selling Content for 21st Century Food Professionals
Have a great idea for an ebook but need some help getting started? Want to produce your own podcast series on a shoestring budget? On October 26th-October 27th, join IACP members at a Special Focus Conference where you will learn how to produce (on a budget) your own dynamic cooking demo video, ebook or podcast- while also learning strategies for generating income off of this content.
On Saturday, attendees can choose to take their Certified Culinary Professional (CCP) exam, with lunch provided. Afterwards, the conference officially begins with cocktails hosted by Allrecipes.com at their downtown Seattle office. Head out afterwards for an optional dinner at one of three renowned Seattle restaurants: Anchovies & Olives, Poppy or The Whale Wins.
On Sunday, settle into a day of classes led by experienced bloggers, podcasters, and the video demo team at Allrecipes.com. A unique mix of hands-on, small class sessions provides you with the chance to learn from experts like Bjorn Ostrom, co-creator of Pinch of Yum and Food Blogger Pro. Get your questions answered at roundtable discussions then try out equipment and software in the Audio Lab. Finish off the weekend with a glass of Cabaret at an evening wine mixer hosted by Hugo House.
