Winterthur, the former home of Henry Francis du Pont is world-renowned for its collections of antiques and Americana. Its fields and farmland illustrate the workings of a great American country estate, and there are paths through the 60-acre naturalistic Winterthur Garden.
5:00 p.m. Opening Reception, Marriott Courtyard at the University of Delaware
The symposium hotel serves as a research site for the University of Delaware Department of Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management (HRIM), and we will be able to look at new technologies for hospitality and foodservice environments.

IACP Symposium Hotel

Attendees are responsible for making their own hotel reservations. The University of Delaware Department of Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management, partnering with the Hagley Library and Museum in bringing the IACP Food History Symposium to their campuses, has an on-site Marriott Courtyard www.marriott.com/hotels/travel/ilgud-courtyard-newark-university-of-delaware at their Newark, Delaware campus that will serve as the official hotel of the symposium. The rate for both Single King and Double rooms is $129 per night. IACP Food History Symposium Registration

Registration Deadline: Friday, September 21

The Registration fee, which includes the Winterthur tour and opening reception on Friday and Saturday dinner, breakfasts and coffee breaks, is $299 per person. There is a $199 option for Saturday day pass registrants, as well as a limited number of student registrations for $25.
