The IACP Awards of Excellence honor our members’ extraordinary contributions and commitment to the culinary field. Past honorees have included such notable culinarians and companies as Rick Bayless, Guiliano Hazan, Anne Willan, CCP, Chuck Williams, Judith Jones, Nora Pouillon, Arthur Schwartz, The Beef Checkoff, and Cuisinart, as well as many others who have demonstrated exceptional leadership and expertise over the years.

Shine the spotlight on your colleague’s or your own accomplishments by submitting a nomination for the 2010 awards program.  IACP members who are engaged in, or recently retired from, a fulltime career focused on the culinary industry may be considered for an IACP Award of Excellence.   Any member of the IACP may nominate any eligible member, including him or herself.

New This Year

The Awards of Excellence Committee has reengineered the categories to bring you an awards program that honors the full range of our professionally diverse membership.  You’ll still find same categories that have distinguished the Awards of Excellence for years - such as Vocational Cooking School and Corporate Marketing Campaign - but you'll also find nine new categories designed to recognize the best of the best amongst our Professional Interest Sections, through awards such as Culinary Tour Operator and Chef or Restaurateur.  The Lifetime Achievement Award and the Humanitarian Award will continue to be awarded by IACP as Special Recognition Awards, with more details coming later this fall.

In addition, the introduction of an online entry form this year allows for the electronic submission of your form prior to mailing your supplemental materials to IACP Headquarters.

All members are invited to submit entries for the 2010 IACP Awards of Excellence.  Please carefully read the Submission Guidelines for more details.
